‘Achnabreac’ soap dishes are handmade and unique. The designs are inspired by Stone and Bronze Age rock carvings, ‘cup-and-ring’ motifs found in Britain and Ireland. Achnabreac is found in Kilmartin Glen in Scotland where there are many amazing Neolithic petroglyphs.
This soap dish is made of a stoneware clay and glazed in ‘Antique celadon’. It measures approximately 100mm in diameter, 20mm high.
It is shaped to reflect the natural slabs of rock found covered in cup-and-ring markings.
