This simple decorative earthenware dish is made of terracotta clay and decorated with blue and white engobe. The swirl motif has been added using the sgraffito technique, is reminiscent of ancient petroglyphs and has been combined with the cloud effect decoration to represent my time spent daydreaming and imagining the Neolithic and Bronze Age.
This dish is a small occasional dish for anywhere in the home. Being of low fired earthenware it is more easily marked but it has been buffed with a coating of beeswax for added protection.
